We get our name from our home location in Hartland, which was once a small industrial village historically known as Foundryville located between the intersections known in town as 3-corners and 4-corners. This historic village was home to many industries over the years, most notably was a foundry where stoves were produced. Our specific location was once home to a steam powered sawmill, and the mixture of gravel and clay deposits here were once used for producing many of the bricks used in some of the historic buildings in town.

While our syrup is currently made at the foot of the sugarbush about 10 minutes from our home location, we look forward to eventually bringing a production scale sugarhouse to the village of Hartland that can be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike as well as add to the list of industries this land has housed.
